Fidya and Kaffara is a religious donation of money or food made to help those in need.

Fidya and Kaffara is made when someone is ill or of extreme age (old or young) and cannot fast for the required amount of days or if an individual has deliberately missed or broken a day of fast without a valid reason. In Ramadan, the Fidya can be made for any amount of days.

At IDRF your Fidya /Kaffara donations of $10 per day will support the people of Gaza have food during the month of Ramadan. Our food parcels which we distribute through contributions of both Fitrah and Fidya /Kaffara provide 5 weeks of food parcels and an Eid gift to over 6000 people each year.

Note: At IDRF we are committed to managing your funds and being accountable to you as our donors with full transparency. To do this, we are committed to ensuring that the funds you have selected are designated to the appropriate country. In the event IDRF receives funds that cannot be designated to the country selected, then please know that the funds will be redirected to support other vulnerable communities that are in urgent need.
