School for Marginalized Children in Malekpore

08 June, 2015 India, Education
IDRF, in partnership with Anjuman E Talimul Muslimeen -ATM India, is conducting another phase of our project “School Support Initiative for Marginalized Children” in Malekpore, Surat.

The aim of the project is to help deprived children of the marginalized region by providing them with quality education to prepare them for trades or higher studies.

ATM provides both primary as well as secondary education. The students are provided free accommodation including free lodging, food, clothes & basic necessity of life. They are also provided with books, stationary and all necessary educational material.

The project focuses primarily on orphaned and homeless children as well as children for whom education is inaccessible as their families are too poor to pay for schooling.

Note: At IDRF we are committed to managing your funds and being accountable to you as our donors with full transparency. To do this, we are committed to ensuring that the funds you have selected are designated to the appropriate country. In the event IDRF receives funds that cannot be designated to the country selected, then please know that the funds will be redirected to support other vulnerable communities that are in urgent need.
